As young women, we watched our grandmothers and aunties move through life with a certain quiet strength. We didn’t have the words for it back then, but we could feel it. They knew something about staying healthy and grounded that the modern world seems to have forgotten.

That realization led us back to the basics. It started with tallow, the simple, nutrient-dense fat our ancestors used for generations to heal their skin. Nuvea wasn’t born in a boardroom or based on a trend report. It was born in a kitchen out of our own frustration, a lot of late-night research, and finally, a sense of relief when we found what was missing.

Why we grew.
